- Dana White has been caught on video winning $1.2m
- He was playing baccarat at Fontainebleau LV on June 27
- White still wants to place a $1m bet on baccarat
Much like Mikki Mase, Dana White is a self-professed baccarat whisperer. The UFC top honcho has been known to make headlines habitually, sharing his passion for gambling and winning.
He has even been banned from casinos on occasion over his style of gambling – he would gamble big, but only a handful of hands, and then walk away with his arguably sizeable wins if he won, not giving the casinos any chance to win back any of the money.
Dana White scores another big baccarat win in Las Vegas
Of course, Dana White is not a gambling maverick, and he has said many times that all he does is for fun, with the small exception that he doesn’t push his luck. He is said to have won$26m-$27m playing over several months at the Caesars casino at one point a few years back.
Anyway, Dana White has been back at the tables at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, having a good time on June 27, when he happened to win $1.2m off a $300,000 bet. The UFC boss is allowed to place this amount at only a handful of properties, and yes, Fontainebleau is among them.
This could have to do with the fact that the resort was also picked to play host to a Power Slap League event, which comes with financial stimuli for the property, which is keen to get the extra footfall the bizarre format brings in.
Dana White’s win was confirmed during an episode of Bussin’ With The Boys YouTube show. While the episode did not focus on Dana White specifically, and only featured him around the 30-minute mark when the hosts were at the baccarat table themselves, it still shows that the man is pretty busy at casinos in Las Vegas, but bar these recorded instances of him playing, it’s hard to guess how much he has won or lost in total.
He has one “goal” in life, though. To be allowed to bet $1 million per baccarat hand. No venue has offered to accommodate him just yet, though.
